who we are

changing the way we live and work

moss is a next-generation co-working, wellness, and event space located in venice beach, california.

beyond a traditional workspace, moss operates as a living ecosystem to support not only what people create, but how they feel while creating it. from natural lighting and organic textures, to air-purifying greenery and aroma therapy, each corner is designed to promote harmony and balance.

since opening our doors in 2024, we have hosted over 200+ events, working with industry leaders across tech, hospitality, wellness, and entertainment. rooted in community, one of our biggest initiatives has been supporting local artists, independent creators, founder labs, and philanthropy.

today moss has become a place where ideas move faster, connections happen naturally, and people feel part of something larger than themselves. we bring together changemakers who are setting a higher standard for the way we live, work, and collaborate.

2022 • the spark

where the idea took root

moss began with a couple friends working in crowded, uncomfortable + at times  in venice post-pandemic. we realized people needed more than a place to sit- they needed a sanctuary where meaningful work, personal well-being, and genuine community could naturally coexist.

2023–2024 • bringing moss to life

from concept to construction

we discovered a sunlit, three-story loft in the heart of venice and began transforming it with local designer, craftsmen, operation minds, artists and engineers. reclaimed timber, preserved moss walls, abundant plant life, and circadian lighting came together to create an environment designed around how people naturally focus, connect, and restore.

2025 • community in action

los angeles fire relief

when wildfires devastated communities across los angeles, moss became a place to gather, contribute, and care for one another. alongside our members, neighbors, and partners, we mobilized resources and support—affirming our belief that a true third space should show up when its community needs it most.

2026 • partnerships + expansion

a living ecosystem

today moss serves as an incubator for founders, artists, and creators, hosting a monthly music events that support independent artists (westside sounds), producing wellness festivals with local partners, and building a lasting community IRL

why I created moss

my path to moss was anything but traditional.
‍
I spent a decade as a professional photographer before moving into human rights work and helping build health care from its earliest stages. across every chapter, I was drawn to the same question:

how can the environments we create help people feel more connected, inspired, and fully alive?

when I began building my own company within venice’s startup and creative community, I experienced firsthand how isolating entrepreneurship can be. I was surrounded by brilliant founders, artists, and independent thinkers doing meaningful work—but often from spaces that offered a desk without inspiration, proximity without connection, and productivity without well-being.

I knew work could feel different. I believed the right environment could become a strategic advantage: a place that supported both ambition and restoration, where people could build their dreams without burning themselves out. that belief became moss.
